No, thats why its fiction. How could someone with a crushed leg stand up and kick a ball with it? In real life something like that would never happen. If a real person really drove a float over someones leg and crushed it, that driver would be thrown in prison so fast their head would spin! Not to mention if they were drunk, if that was the case they would have a lot of charges filed against them. So all in all in real life Homer would have been in jail long ago.
