Help! Bowl buddies tab turned water blue in my betta's tank is this normal?

I am really worried.I usually use a different water conditioner for my Betta's tank but I could not find it so I used bowl buddies.I always make more than I need so I have it when I need to change his tank so I put 1 tablet in the same gallon jug I always use for his water and after it sat for a while it turned blue...Is this normal?It is the jungle bowl buddies.I am really worried and I really love my little delta tail male betta named Abraham (named after Arnold's goldfish on "Diffrent Strokes") a bunch so please please help.
