and shingles are they connected ?

iim 36yr and bout 10yr i got the shingles i was very depressed at the time and my doctor said my system was run down, im going throu the same situation just now as my mum just died in my arms and ive talked bout suicide thou im gettin help now and talking im stillnot sleeping and ating and breaking out in spots and getting nose bleeds and mouth ulcers , headaches and ive discovered ive got genital could i have just got that or must i have caught it from my partner?
